 The Centre des musiciens du monde is very pleased to host, in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Observatory for Creation and Research in Music (OICRM), its first Fall Musical Meetings. For this first edition, we invite researchers and musicians to share their research and experience around the theme: Women musicians of the world. So, the idea of ​​this new annual meeting is to offer a reflection on a social issue, which is stimulated by the dialogue between its different actors and actresses, from the artistic, academic and social circles. That is why we will invite researchers and musicians to share their research and experience around the theme: Women musicians of the world. We will thus explore the professional paths of migrant musicians from various regions of the world.

In this concert of Didem Başar, the Turkish-born kanun virtuoso will present her new work for the boxed zither, which she masters wonderfully, in dialogue with the Andara quintet.
