Concert | Ánnámáret & Ilkka Heinonen Duo
Ánnámáret Duo performs traditional joiks in an intimate and minimalist form. The duo also performs songs and joiks composed by Ánnámáret. The duo combines Sámi vocal music with jouhikko (Finnish bowed lyre), acoustic guitar or accordion.
The sound of the duo is a mixture of ancient Sámi joiks and modern folk music in a delicate and intimate form.
