The Centre des musiciens du monde is very pleased to host, in partnership with the Interdisciplinary Observatory for Creation and Research in Music (OICRM), its first Fall Musical Meetings. So, we invite researchers and musicians to share their research and experience around the theme: Women musicians of the world. The idea of ​​this new annual meeting is to offer a reflection on a social issue, which is stimulated by the dialogue between its different actors and actresses, from the artistic, academic and social circles. For this first edition, we invite researchers and musicians to share their research and experience around the theme: Women musicians of the world. We will thus explore the professional paths of migrant musicians from various regions of the world.

This exceptional concert, offered by Djély Tapa, will resonate with the voice of griots from Mandingo culture (West Africa). She will be accompanied for the occasion by the famous Zal Sissokho’s kora.
