Venezuelan Cuatro

Individual classes by René Oréa

The cuatro is a typical medium-size four string instrument (between ukulélé and guitar) from Venezuela. René Oréa is a Venezuelan multi-instrumentalist, composer and musicologist (PhD) as he also plays Western concert flute and Andean flutes. René was formed to Western classical and Latin-American popular music and was trained to Venezuela’s famous National orchestra system known as “El Sistema”.
