Group Discovery Workshop
This two-hour workshop is open to all musicians, from amateur to semi-professional, who are keen to learn more about repertoires from South America. The goal is to guide the instrumentalist through the understanding of rhythm, accents, phrasing and typical characteristics of those different musical styles. For this session, you may bring any string or wind instrument.
During this discovery workshop, you will have:
- An overview of great musical families from South America
- An introduction to the rhythms and melodies of these families
- Playing & improvisational group notions
