This workshop is open to musicians, singers, composer and improvisers.
During the discovery workshop, you will have an overview of:
- Theoretical elements relative to the Maqâm system (intervals and microtones ; modal developing and inter-modal modulations)
- Different melodic sequences (from beginner to mid-level)
- Ornaments role in melodic sequences
- Improvisation notions
- Introduction to rhythmical cycles and application of several cycles
- Playing and interactions within a musical ensemble
