Group class by Miguel Medina

Following his studies in composition and classical percussion at Manuel M. Ponce Conservatory in Mexico, Miguel Medina worked for 3 years with choreographer and director Ruben Segal of Barcelona.

He has been a musician for 15 years for contemporary dance at Circuit-Est, Concordia University and the Montreal School of Contemporary Dance. He has also worked for many musical projects in Mexico, France and Canada.

Learn cajón through group lessons

A cajón is a box-shaped percussion instrument originally from Peru, played by slapping the front or rear faces with the hands, fingers, or sometimes implements such as brushes, mallets, or sticks. Cajón are primarily played in Afro-Peruvian music (specifically música criolla), but has made its way into flamenco as well.
