The CMM Arabic Music Ensemble is holding a concert. This is an opportunity to support the students and showcase the musical skills they have developed. Under the direction of Mohamed Masmoudi, the group explores musical modes (makam), the classical Arabic repertoire, improvisation (taqsim), and the development of ensemble listening: a monodic, ornamental musical tradition deeply rooted in oral transmission.
