Café Korigé is an intercultural project bringing together Komty Ondoua (voice), Gabriel Évangélista (piano, percussion, voice) and Geremia Lorenzo Lodi (flute, body percussion, voice). Through Maka’a, Spanish and Italian, the three artists explore the hidden landscapes of their mother tongues, comparing, layering and reinventing them through music. Blending Pygmy polyphonies, Latin jazz grooves, equatorial rhythms and Mediterranean melodies, they create a meeting space where languages become sonic, poetic and musical material. Founded at the Centre des musiciens du monde, the trio presents an original work that celebrates origins, dialogue and belonging through a distinctly contemporary artistic language.
