Cahit Köse

Born and raised in Istanbul (Turkey), Cahit started playing bağlama in his early childhood. He attended the music schools of Arif Sag and Erdal Erzincan to improve his bağlama playing technique. He taught bağlama in various local baglama schools and public education centers in Istanbul. Also, he played baglama in amateur music groups and participated in several projects as a performer. He currently lives in Montreal. He teaches bağlama and participates in various musical projects at the Centre des musiciens du monde.
