Originally from Mexico, Isabel Tames carries within her a deep connection to music, nature, and mindfulness. She is the founder of Son Jarocho Montréal, a group dedicated to promoting this musical tradition through workshops and events, while sharing it with people of all backgrounds.
Description
For children aged 7 to 9
Through the traditions of Son Jarocho (Mexico), children will discover music in a fun and participatory way. The workshops will use body percussion, hand clapping, footwork, and vocal activities to develop a sense of rhythm, listening skills, and creativity.
Each session will feature a variety of musical games and activities, allowing children to enjoy an accessible, joyful, and inclusive musical experience.
