The Murmurosi trio invites you on a journey into the heart of Ukrainian vocal traditions with an a cappella concert highlighting the richness of the country’s winter repertoire. Through a selection of koliadky and shchedrivky, songs associated with Christmas and New Year celebrations, the three voices weave a soundscape imbued with spirituality, joy, and poetry.
Drawing mainly on the traditions of the Kyiv and Poltava regions, Murmurosi brings to life melodies passed down from generation to generation. By turns meditative and festive, these songs tell of the hopes, blessings, and rituals that accompany the winter season in Ukrainian villages.

With capacity limited to 50 seats, the intimate atmosphere is ideal for savouring every note and every breath, in a silence and resonance conducive to listening. Each evening explores an instrument and the culture it embodies, shining a light on traditional music passed down orally through generations.
