Accounting technician (Permanent position)
This position is open to all candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. However, in the case of equivalent skills, hiring priority will be given to people of immigrant or visible minority background eligible for Emploi Québec’s PRIIME program.

Job description
As an accounting technician, you will be the only person responsible for accounting. You will perform the entire accounting cycle and have the opportunity to improve existing processes. You will be a point of reference for our team, ensuring smooth communication between the various parties involved while ensuring that accounting operations are carried out rigorously.
- Perform all bookkeeping activities (payments, deposits, bank reconciliations, payroll management, group insurance management, government remittances, billing, inventories, etc.);
- Ensure the preparation and management of annual and project budgets in collaboration with General Management;
- Prepare year-end files in collaboration with the auditors;
- Prepare year-end files in collaboration with the auditors;
- Produce tax slips (T4, T4A, T4ANR, T5, Relevé 1, Relevé 3, etc.) and design summaries and any other documents required at year-end;
- Ensure the archiving of all documents related to accounting management;
- Develop and update internal control measures;
- Perform various administrative tasks related to human resources (insurance documents, assistance with payroll administration, maintenance of personal files, etc.);
- Ensure compliance with internal human resources policies and applicable laws.
Desired skills profile
- Degree in administration, accounting or related field;
- Good knowledge of the performing arts milieu;
- Strong sense of responsibility, organization and planning;
- Thoroughness and attention to detail;
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English;
- Mastery of tools such as Excel and SAGE 50 accounting software. Knowledge of EmployeurD, Airtable, Amilia and XLGL is an asset;

As an Administrative Agent / Customer Service, you will be a key player in creating an exceptional experience for our visitors, students, artists and partners. Under the supervision of the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring personalized, professional and friendly service, and contributing to the smooth running of the Centre’s operations.
Your responsibilities
Welcome and serve our musical community
- Offer a friendly and respectful welcome, embodying our values of openness and diversity.
- Respond to telephone, email and social network inquiries with courtesy and efficiency.
- Accompany customers through the process of registering at the music school and renting space, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Create a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere for every visitor, fostering a respectful environment that complies with Centre regulations.
Administrative and logistical support
- Manage registrations and updates to the calendar of activities and reservations, with particular attention to organization.
- Ensure smooth management of inventory and administrative documentation.
- Actively participate in the organization and logistics of the Centre’s special events (concerts, festivals, workshops, etc.).
Support for the organization of special events
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events by providing logistical support during event preparation and execution.
- Contribute to the success of our musical programming by providing service to artists and participants.
Conditions of employment
- Employment period: Full-time position
- Schedule: 35 h/week, Tuesday to Friday (1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Location: 5043, rue St-Dominique, Montreal (Quebec), in person
